Denizens of Hell: Part 1

Description

Perhaps a potential series in the future. My art teacher saids I should always draw as much as I can, no matter what is, as long as it's something testing my skills. So I made these.

Now this ties to FFDM and how the demons are recgonized in my story. Though Faust nor Satan intented for the demons to have actual identities; Lucifer decided to name them himself. From how they looked and fought, he catagorized them as "Demon *insert noun here*" and that was their overall description. Here are the first five: Demon...

Stalker: What was made from Faust's own creation, the Stalker was formed as a decaying meaty skeleton, stanced like a cheetah and with similar behavior to a panther. Their primary weapons is its ribcage and spinal cord. These skeletal remains can produce a barrage of elongating spikes to jut from both the top and underside. The Stalker is as well equipped secondary weapons like its scissor-like front feet and a back set of long legs, capable of a powerful back kick and sharps talons too. Along with its gruesome fangs, the Stalker is highly able to travel great miles and in silence before its found by its victim. Normally, they're not a challenge for Lucifer, but are towards the regular citizens.

Basher: Another created during Faust's reign over Hell, a devil created the Basher as a miniture Berserker, but equipped with an oversized arm. As you can see the arm is riddled with jutting spikes and sharp talons, as well as being wide and thick - perfect for crushing its victims beneath its horrendous weight. Yet, such a gigantic appendage leaves the Basher at a disability: slow and clumsy movement. The arm requires much strength to lift, even for a demon, and percision when landing. Many times the Basher is the first to die by Lucifer's hands, as it'll occassionly slip or stagger from its arm's immense weight. Nevertheless, the Bashers act as valueable decoys, allowing time for much stronger demons to arrive and eradicate its killers.

Curser: Created by Velmont Faustheart, the Curser was made to look like a evil spirit, but in physical form. Having its eyes stitched, its mouth gapping, its body decrepit, its legs whither and wrapped in a shroud, and its arms twisted together in prayer; the Curser is meant to mock Christianity and its sense of hope. Though this is not its entire ability, but its blasphemous wails that're said to take the very soul from your body. The only flaw in the Curser is its feeble anatomy. Its body isn't meant for close-range combat and can simply be put down if knocked out of the air. Not entirely used as a decoy, the Curser is mainly released as a messenger for its deadly cousin.

Howler: Created by Velmont Faustheart, the Howler was made to be far superior to its presuccessor, the Curser. Similar to the Curser's appearance, the Howler does have some differences in appearance. Its equipped with a hooded patch of flesh and muscle, acting as a cowl for the demon's draconic head. Next, is its muscular arms and the unique of anatomy of them both. The right arm acts as a simple grabbing hand, with a curved edge for additional damage. Yet, its left arm acts as a constricting whip, allowing it able to throw projectiles, whiplash with either its arm or with a weapon, and as a way to choke its victims. The lower part of the Howler is a brittle spinal cord, allowing it far more maneuverability than the Curser. It also can act as a weapon to impale its victims. The only resemblance to the Curser is its skeletal torso and stitched eyes. Nevertheless, the Howler's soul creation was to overwhelm Lucifer. Even at times at Lucifer's highest prowess, the Howler can immediately put that to an end with its ear-shattering howl, thundering its hellish call into immense descruction.

Snare: One of the few remnants of Satan's reign, the devil that created the Snare imagined it as a crawling beast of imprisoning appendages. The Snare's claws allow it to clamp its victim and throw it down its mouth. Then, through the visiblity of its torso - made to appear as a upside down cross - its victim is digested to death. The Snare's overall abilities are limited to just ensnaring its victim and digesting it, but it as well can attack with its legs, claws, and mouth. It as well has a powerful defense, allowing it capable of withstanding explosions, sharp, and blunt weaponry. This is where it's a gamble to kill the Snare: Lucifer must fall into its visible gut and kill it from the inside, all with killing it before the stomach acid can reach him and with escaping its cage-like torso somehow.

I'll post the next five later. I hope you like them so far! :D
